Hospitality, without interruptions.
A concept connecting discovery, information and the request for a booking.
The context
An illustrative design example for a hospitality property. It does not represent a real client or an operating booking platform.
The problem to solve
Information about the stay is spread around. The visitor has to understand rooms, services and conditions before starting a booking or contacting the property.
What is needed as input
Rooms and conditions, the services of the property, access to the booking engine and someone who can update the information and handle special requests. The source that is authoritative for availability and prices has to be identified first: without that, the concept stays a drawing.
The system designed
One clear page presents the experience and leads to the practical information. Dedicated pages answer specific needs. The booking engine keeps control of availability and prices; particular requests follow a separate path to the staff.
The steps
- The visitor arrives from a search, a map or a direct link.
- They find the relevant page: stay, services, conditions.
- The standard information stays on the site; availability and prices stay in the booking engine.
- A request that needs a person takes a separate path and reaches someone who can decide.
- The answer comes from the staff and the outcome is recorded where the team works.
Connections and measurement
Site → relevant page → booking engine or request → responsible person → outcome. The measurement would separate confirmed bookings, requests and outbound clicks, according to the data actually available.
What you receive
A journey defined at every point: pages with verifiable information, a connection to the booking engine that does not duplicate availability, a route for enquiries that do not end in a form. This is what would be delivered in a real project; here it stays a concept, not a contract and not a commercial result.
How it would be validated
Testing the journey on mobile, verifying prices and availability in the source system, handling incomplete requests and comparing with the staff of the property.
Results
No commercial metric available: this is a concept. Results require implementation, a baseline and the client’s data.
